Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. As a child, she was inspired by Boleros, classical music and the classic romantic, ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana has a passion for the opera and tango genres as well as every form of dramatic performances. She was taught by her mother to sing, however she started intensive training in vocals by Flavio Belcerra at 16 when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera Tenor. She furthered her training in music at the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. The singer performed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young student and professional. After moving to America, United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002, she made her way to southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer with traditional Latin American music at private occasions. The passion and love she has for music, art, and performing has her involved in many local projects as a performer and teacher. Ana has also been an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as and the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for allowing her to perform the traditional Latin American song.
